Pet Stain Removal Question

We have just bought a new puppy and he keeps having accidents on the carpet, how can we clean these up so that there is no odor remaining?

Cherish your pet and don't get angry with him, he will learn. If he does have an accident on the carpet, don't try and blot the stain as this will push the odor further into your carpet. Make a mixture of one part water to three parts vinegar and after mixing it thoroughly pour it on the affected area.

Cover it with a paper towel and then leave a heavy book over it for a few hours to absorb into the carpet and neutralize the odors and stain. Repeat the process again but with the opposite proportions, one part vinegar to three parts water and leave again for a few hours. Finally wash over the affected area gently with a mixture of liquid detergent and warm water.
